6 Hours of Abu Dhabi – Race Recap

We started the 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi from P9 after a difficult qualifying session. Once the race started, we made good progress early and moved into the top three within the opening phase.

Around two hours into the race, we took the lead. The pace was strong and consistent, and throughout the weekend we showed that we were capable of running at the front of the field.

Midway through the race, the car suffered a speed sensor failure. This caused the car to stop on track and resulted in a major time loss. After the issue was resolved, we rejoined the race four to five laps down.

From there, the priority was to finish the race and avoid further issues. We completed the remaining distance without additional problems and finished P14 overall.

The final result does not reflect the pace we had during the race or across the weekend. The issue was outside our control, and without it, a much stronger result was possible.
