Michelin 24H Barcelona 2025
24H Michelin Barcelona 2025 – Race Recap
Team: Asbest Racing | Class: TCE | Result: P3 + Fastest Lap (1:52.6)
We came into the 24H of Barcelona with some early setbacks. A brake issue kept us from setting a time in qualifying, which meant starting the race from the very back of the grid.
I took the start, and the car immediately felt strong. Within six laps we had fought back to the class lead and managed to build a 30-second gap. Unfortunately, the same brake issue returned just 30 minutes into the race, and it resulted in a crash. The car was damaged, and we spent nearly three hours in the garage making repairs.
That dropped us to last, more than 2.5 hours behind the class leader. From there, we focused on consistency and managed to climb back to P2 with just two hours remaining.
A late engine issue cost us one more position, and we crossed the line in P3. We also set the fastest lap in class with a 1:52.6, showing the pace was there.
This race was also a great training step toward my goal of racing at Le Mans.
