24H DUBAI 2026
The 24 Hours of Dubai was held the weekend after Abu Dhabi. This time the weekend started better. We qualified P2, which put us in a good position for the race.
The start was clean and we stayed P2 through the first part of the race. The early hours were about driving consistently, dealing with traffic, and not pushing too hard too early. The car felt good and there were no major problems at this stage.
For a long time, the race ran without anything serious happening. We focused on keeping the car running, hitting our stints, and avoiding mistakes. Everything was under control.
Later in the race, we had an issue with the ABS. This meant we had to come in and then continue the race without ABS for the final six hours. Braking became more difficult and it limited how hard we could push.
Near the end of the race, we also picked up a puncture, which cost more time. After that, the main goal was simply to finish the race without any further problems.
We completed the full 24 hours and finished P7 overall out of 16 cars. It was not the result we were aiming for after qualifying, but we finished the race and gained important experience.
